Should hotseat issues be reported in a different way?

I recently noticed that you can add a "hotseat" player to a game via the invite feature, but this is also listed as being in beta. I've been playing a 3 player game of GWT via hotseat and came across several problems with the feature. The only way I can report the problems and cite the table number pushes the bug report to the game itself. However, is it really the individual game developer's fault that a feature that didn't exist when they created the game doesn't work. I assume the person(s) developing the hotseat feature should be responsible for looking at the errors, not the game dev. But if I report this as a site issue, there isn't an appropriate category to select nor can I link it to a table number. So, how are these bug reports going to get pushed to the correct person?

If you think the hotseat mode in general is buggy, you should report it as a site issue. You can even filter the existing bug reports for "hotseat" and see if your problems were already reported.

There is no specialized category for this, but giving an appropriate title should be sufficient. You can still give a link to your game table as an example in the free text - and I guess it will be appreciated!

Report a site issue if you find that the hotseat mode in general has bugs. You may even search for "hotseat" in the list of reported bugs to see whether your specific issue has previously been flagged.

Since no specific category exists for something, simply naming it is sufficient. Even in the free words, I imagine a link to your game table as an example would be welcome. mini crossword
