Hourglass symbol hiding player's time

Post by Regerr »

Hello,

Am I the only one seeing a "+2 [hourglass symbol]" on top of each player's time counter? It hides about half of said counter and does not seem to be of any use.

This was reported back when the game was in alpha, but appears not to be a high priority.

With respect to "does not seem to be of any use", it tells you how many final scoring cards the player has. It's not tremendously useful, but sometimes a reminder that an opponent played an elephant is helpful in decision-making.

Thanks for pointing this has a meaning, I wouldn't have guessed. Not useful at all, however.

If I had a single wish about the player display, it would be a count of how many hexes are still empty.

+1 on counting the unoccupied hexes!

This is clearly explained in the tour every player should have read at least once though...
