While playing with people on the same computer with the hot seat feature, we prefer to play complete information games, ie, games where all players have exactly the same information about the game state (like Azul, Kingdomino, Castles of Burgundy, ...). This excludes all games where players have some hidden cards in their hands, for instance.
Playing complete information games on the same screen if definitely more convivial, and often shorten the playtime. However, I am sure there are tons of games in BGA with complete information I don't know, and having a simple way to find them would be great, like something to select in the "specific" scrolling menu.
