leaf bonus score ?!

Hi, at the final scoring. after scoring each of the areas (1-6) there's another small bones next to a leaf symbol.

I didn't get the logic of how doest it score, I don't think the toturial nor the game rules explain it.
any help?

It’s the bonus points you earn when you reach specific leaf totals (11/21/31…). Some give you points, some give you wilds (X)
