Trying to play Tzol'in

Hi,

I've just tried to start a game of Tzolk'in. Got 4 players, but the game doesn't
seem to have started - it has a message at the top of the screen saying the game
is loading, but nothing is happening. I haven't got any start tiles yet, and one of
the players is listed as being offline. What's going on? This is putting me off the
site - this is my first attempt to play.

Further to this: the system claimed that the game was abandoned after 46 minutes
(during which time nothing happened, despite refreshing every couple of minutes),
and I thought this was because another player had left the game. I sent a private
message to that player asking why he went offline, and he has replied, saying that
he was present, kept refreshing, and apparently the system says I left the game!

I have checked my profile and it does say I abandoned the game.

Well, I can assure everyone that I never abandoned it, and it appeared to be the
system that abandoned the game. Can anyone, especially the site managers,
explain what happened? I would be very interested to know why this has happened
and how to prevent a reoccurrence in future.
