Trouble setting up Solo mode

I’m sure I am overlooking this but, where is friendly mode?

Every time I create a solo table it gives me option for difficulty and verifiers but I cannot for the life of me find “friendly mode”.

I’m on my phone if that helps.

You can start solo games (of any game) only in friendly mode. If you started the game successfully (probably directly form the game page https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=turingmachine), this was done automatically

This is (confusingly given the error message you saw) an option under Game Speed.
