Choosing Train Colors by Rank Preferred Train Colors

I premise that for me it's not really a problem but since someone pulled it out I thought of a couple solutions:

1) probably not applicable because of publisher restrictions - add an extra colour, that can't be used by anyone, and you can choose to force yourself to that colour. Opponents see you of one of the usual colours and you see it in the scoreboard, but the trains are always the same. Not the best solution, but as an optional one, it's still better than nothing.

2) better and seems more likely to be applicable: have your trains slightly glow or bordered with a thicker/different colour line to highlight them. Still optional, since it can be annoying for someone, but seems like a solid solution

The “leave yourself a note” option at the top right of the screen is really helpful if you’re not able to remember your color. A quick “you’re blue!” should do the trick?

Just like the current system...

Let's put it this way: Which is the bigger issue?

1) Losing a game because you forgot that you are with a different color than usual
2) Mislabeling another player in a chat (while whining...)

But I will add, there is already the "Train car outlines" TTR Preference that exist.
With this option Enabled, the "Train car outlines" color is black.
The "Train car outlines" color should be a different color for us, the preferred color in our BGA profile, and be black for all the others players.
