Yes there is. Ufm did the analysis and proved it
All I see was them stating they found too many players overlapping with solvers a couple of years ago, especially in the 500+ rating range. No context given on what that looked like and nothing recent.

What I have seen is that the connect four rating ladder is not nearly strong enough at the ratings described for it to be as cheat-filled as I've seen people claim. It took me some grinding, lots of ups and downs, but no way I'd be able to get as far as I have if the site was as loaded with cheaters as claimed.

On the other hand, I have seen a thread where the OP basically made stuff up and posted what looked to be a couple of poorly played games by their end board and went "lol cheating!" (They didn't even give the move order.) These kinds of people just make it harder to find actual cheaters by hiding the serious issues with fluff. I've found a couple of cheaters on BGA, even gotten their ratings reset, etc. though so far all of them were for boosting, even in Connect Four, it was boosting, not engine use, that they got nailed for, and it was a couple of low rated accounts. There's always the occasional account that makes me wonder, but I've yet to ever have anything concrete, and I remind myself that there are going to be far better Connect Four players than me out there.

If you are so naive as to not believe people cheat online when they play solved games, even when presented with evidence by the devs that the cheating is occurring, then I don't know what to tell you

When the person you're referring to has already told you not to misconstrue their post and you proceed to do it again it only strengthens my case that you're just making things up, lol. :D They even posted it again showing their post on the subject that you've so conveniently ignored.

I agree people cheat at Connect 4.

Do a google search for connect 4 solver.

Pull up the connect 4 solver and then compare moves people make with that of the connect 4 solver. If they match completely (in many cases 100%), then cheating is happening.

The solver is not prevalent in all games but it is definitely there in many games.

SluggerBaloney is 100% correct.

This silliness has already been covered, please see... well, this thread, and any of the others this has already been dismantled. We've already established Slugger was giving us... well, baloney. :D Also, the existence of the solver is not news. But you'll also have to do better than someone's moves matching a solver suggestions for a full game, as all that indicates is they did not make any mistakes in that one game. https://connect4.gamesolver.org/?pos=4157326 In this example set of moves red's moves match a solver completely, yet I would not accuse red of cheating here, yellow merely made terrible moves that were easy to out. There are several common opening errors where I would expect a decent player to punish with perfect accuracy to the finish with as much ease as they'd have playing red's moves in my example. I definitely have both my share of perfect games and of blunders, and there are players much better than me at this. If they've never made a mistake in any of their games, that's when it becomes much more suspicious.

There are plenty of people who cheat in Connect 4 and I have a whole list of account names, their games, and the opponents they faced.

The forum rules here prevent me from posting the numerous specific names of accounts, their games, and the 90%/100% plus of moves which match the correct 4 solver for close to 30-40 moves on a 6x7 configuration, and their opponents.

It’s just flat out denial to say people are not cheating in this game on this website.

Again, I maintain SluggerBaloney is 100% correct.

Your BGA account lists 4 games of Connect Four yet you claim an extensive list of cheaters? Your insistence on defending a user whose case was taken apart long ago isn't helping your credibility here either. I'm not big on trusting unsourced claims for these kinds of things. If this list is so extensive and evidence overwhelming then send it to the BGA moderation. I haven't had the chance to see how they handle a cheating report but I've successfully gotten several reports acted on for boosting.

But can’t you understand that the forum rules themselves prevent me from giving you all the substantial evidence that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt people cheat in this game?

Please do not continue to argue this point when the forum rules say you can’t call people out by name, and/or list all the games where people are cheating, and show all the 30+ moves in a game that match the Connect 4 solver 100%
