Improvement for Roll for the Galaxy game

Hi,

It seems that most Roll for the Galaxy games go along the path of Develop, Develop, Develop.

Once in a while, the stars align, and Shipping works as a strategy.

Once in a while, Planet building works as a strategy.

What if there was an Optional Rule that 6+ Developments only scored the "+" part as Victory Points? They still cost 6 dice, but the Victory Points for winning the game did not "double dip" and score 6 VP and the "+" VP?

Changes to a specific game (as opposed to a suggestion affecting the site or all games) can be proposed by submitting a suggestion to the developer for the specific game. Here is the link to do that for Roll for the Galaxy.

Discussion of a proposed improvement to a specific game can be raised in the sub-forum for that specific game.

That link doesn't actually allow for posting a suggestion for a specific game, such as Roll for the Galaxy, only for a specific table.

And it seems no one has looked at the forums for the Roll for the Galaxy game since, like, 2020 or so.

Actually, it does. If you click the question mark next to the table number field in the form, you will see it says:

About the table number

A table number is required as a reference even for general bugs and suggestions concerning a game (in that case, you can use any recent table for this game).

And it seems no one has looked at the forums for the Roll for the Galaxy game since, like, 2020 or so.

I'm not sure if you cross-posted there or a mod moved it, but your post on this same subject in the Roll for the Galaxy sub-forum has been viewed over 100 times. So people are looking at it.
