And no, this change does not seem to have been publicly announced, probably because BGA knew how unhappy many users would be with this change.

Isn't the Release-Summaries-part of the Forum, Public?
Or you meant you wanted it to also be in the Official Announcements?
I was under a probably vague impression, that the Official Announcements were for: New Games and New Arena Seasons. I might be wrong.
I assume GeraldineMerida is aware of the Release Summaries which was linked to by the OP and meant it was not publicly announced
before it was implemented nor was there a warning that it was even being considered. Once it's in Release Summaries it's a done deal.
Oh, ok... :s
But when was this thing implemented? It couldn't have been waaaay before the Summaries Entry, right?
I guess I try to empathize with you and understand the complaints; because for me, it is not such a big deal.
I explained more why, rather objectively, on the other post about this.
I feel like a lot of people think that the Karma Drop stayed at 60% or 30%, until a 10%/20% Public RT Threshold was reverted or something - which was not true.
So I don't personally understand why people are so upset about this... About an occasional Reputation Drop to 60%, that could be solved with 40 fast games?

Realistically speaking, that's the only thing that changed from before.
Before the previous Threshold System (waaay back, until 2018 I think), Reputations were pinned to 60% or 30% or whatever, and could only be "unrestricted" if the Public RT Threshold reverted; then, BGA (understandably) changed that way, to the previous one, when Reps. weren't pinned, but Karma Drop still happened once a threshold was met; and now they changed to this one.
So basically... not much of a difference from the previous system; am I missing something?
