It's weird that some tiles r SAME color on both sides.

In the physical copy, there are some with the same color on both side.
I’m torn on this. It’s a depressing beat when you turn a card in your hand and it changes nothing. On the other hand, it makes for a pretty obvious card to track, and they are usually the ones I keep remembering.

Why would it be weird? It's probably as weird as some domino tiles having the same number on both sides.
On the other hand, there was a bug that showed the wrong colour (https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=87529), so there may still be some similar bugs.

It is weird, because the official rulebook says: „Game contents: 50 cards, each with one color on the front and a different color on the back“.

I'd say that:
a) The official rules are probably the French ones.
b) When other languages say "different colors", they probably mean "possibly different colors"
c) I'm not sure the description of the components counts as "rules"
d) Pay attention to this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9ATl2eIYfA&t=25s): a hand of 4 pink cards is shown, and then we see the other side, and there's one pink card... so there's at least one pink-pink card.

a) Okay, but the rules are simple enough that translation errors like this are easily avoided.Jellby wrote: ↑17 September 2023, 19:15 I'd say that:

b) In English, the word "different" means "different"; it doesn't mean "maybe different and maybe the same". (I won't comment on other languages.)
c) It can vary on a case-by-case basis. For example if the description of components says that equipment is made out of plastic, that obviously is not a "rule" that must be followed in a digital version of the game! But I'd argue in a case like this (the question of whether the two sides of a card can be the same colour), what it says in the rules is a "rule" for purposes of the digital implementation.
d) Good catch! It looks to me from the video that in addition to the pink-pink card, there's an orange-orange card in the speaker's hand.
I am persuaded that at least in the French version of the physical game, some cards have the same colour on both sides. I'd be curious whether that's true in the English version of the physical game as well. If so, then I hope the publisher will acknowledge the error in the published English rules (and correct it online).
Re: It's weird that some tiles r SAME color on both sides.
The physical game has some cards with identical colors on both sides.
The BGA implementation does the same.
As far as I know, the deck is the same for all localisations.
This is a translation issue, I'll warn the publisher about it.
