Can't modify customized aspects of the game

I seem to have lost my ability to change the number of players, board maps and other customized features of Ark Nova. I was able to do this until recently, and still can with other games, but it's locked for Ark Nova. Thanks to anyone that has any insights they can share!

Are you sure you are not playing in Arena ?

Is there a way to play outside the arena while on the website? I'm new to the platform. I've played several solo games, but now it's locked on 2player. This hasn't happened with other games I've been playing.

If you are using the old lobby (ie by clicking Play Now button), the competitive setting is the first icon on the left on that page
