last player concede, better hint text, layout is awful

Post by Chucklepie »

Here are some comments after a few games:

1. If you're the last player there really is no need for the game to force you to get to the end, possibly making 5 other players just wait for another 10 minutes or more potentially, the game is over. It needs a concede option.

2. There is literally nothing that has a hover, it should give hints for all your dashboard items, etc just to remind you of the options, and contain useful stuff like what does and doesn't add to a corner check for the relevant phases, etc.

3. Every single thing is in a single vertical column. Even when using zoom out. So I was left scrolling forever yet 50% of my screen width was just completely blank. As a simple thing, it could put your cards and player mat side by side. But this isn't fully an issue with this game, it's BGA. It really needs to improve the CSS and layout manager they use for the site.

BGA itself does not control the CSS or layout of individual games. As stated above, you can create a suggestion linked to the game itself with layout suggestions.

Also, please avoid use exageration in your report, it's not helping in any way.
If you think some tooltips are missing, please list exactly the parts where you think it's missing (again, in a dedicated suggestion you create or upvote), and why it matters, instead of saying "there is literally nothing that has a hover" which is obviously false.

Agree with this, there should be a way to auto-end the game if one player is left
This is done for Rallyman GT, so it might be possible to copy that implementation for it?

There already is a button if the player wants to skip, if he's too far behind and other have finished the game.

As already stated in this thread, please use the bugs/suggestion report system. It's just making our like way harder to have things posted at several places, sometimes for similar stuff.
If you would have looked into that system and search to see if such a suggestion already exists, you would have found one with the status "implemented".
