Prevent specific players from joining?

Is there a way to prevent specific players from joining a tournament? I’m running a few tournaments that function as promotion/relegation leagues and the lowest division is open to anyone, but ideally players in the top divisions wouldn’t be able to join. Is this possible?

You can loosely filter people out by ELO/how good they are at the game when setting up the tournament, but that's it.

You could switch to an invitation-only tournament, either person-by-person, or by inviting people to groups by division, and then inviting the group(s). That'd be more overhead for you as coordinator,
