I encountered the following situation. During my draw of the tree, there were 10 cards in the clearing and they were instantly discarded, although my turn was not over yet and I could take two cards as a bonus. The rules say the following:
Checking the Clearing
At the end of your turn, if there are 10 or more cards in the clearing, the clearing must be emptied. Birch
Remove all cards from the clearing and return them to the game box.
Then your turn ends, and the next player clockwise takes their turn unless an effect or bonus allows you to take another turn.
Thus, the rules emphasize that cards are discarded only at the end of the turn if there are 10 or more. In my opinion, this is a bug on the BGA.
