Tags and the Science Library

While I don't have video, I was playing a solo game, and played the science library (which gives $2 for every research tag played). Later in that game I played medical breakthrough which has 1 science tag, but has a requirement of 4 science tags. I received $10 from the science library when I played it, not $2. This seems as if it is counting the prerequisites as tags for the purpose of the science library. Is this working as intended?

You'll have to give the game # (move # would help also) so we can double check what happened.

I did a quick text search on your game logs for solo play over the last 4 days a minute ago, and your have no record of playing both of those cards over that stretch, so I'm not sure what game you're referring to.

There are two sponsors that require four research tags: medical breakthrough and science museum. I’m guessing it was the latter card, not the former, as science museum immediately pays out $2 per research tag, which usually amounts to $10 as it is typically saved and played the moment the 4th research tag is acquired, for a total of 5 research tags x $2 or $10.

So I am guessing the reason why Remkar can’t find medical breakthrough is because science museum is the one to look for.

I tried digging back through my games and couldn't find it - I guess it's possible that it was the science museum, although that's not how I remember it. So, the way it's supposed to work is based on tags, not requirements. I'll keep an eye out in case I see this again.
