Games without hidden information

Post by fruktansvärt »

Abstract games such as Chess, Azul and Yahtzee do not have any hidden information, everybody can see what pieces everybody else has.
Are there any Euro-style games that also has no hidden hands or pieces, no information only available to one player?
Information available to no players, such as shuffled decks of cards, is ok.

There are tons of games here without hidden information.
In addition to those already mentioned:
Space Base, Gizmos, Kingdom Builder, Potion Explosion, Onitama, Zooloretto,
Santorini (some powers have hidden information, these can be excluded in setup)

Patchwork is a great one.

I would also include Splendor - I have no idea why the design includes reserved cards being face-down, but that's a trivially easy thing to note down/remember during the game.

In Carcassonne and Kingdom Builder you hold 1 hidden tile or card to play next. This might be classified as hidden information.

Not if one is drawn from the top of the decks.

Alhambra technically has no hidden information, all the money people have on hand is initially public information.
