Hiding games you can't join

How about (a button for) hiding:
[*]full tables,
[*]tables not matching your skill/percentages?

Maybe I'm playing too many different games, but more than half of the list is always tables I actually can't join.

This is an idea i support .

If it is not possible to implement this, can there at least be an indication somewhere what your level is for a certain game? I learned that good player is above 1600 but still have on idea what the difference between starter and average player is.
Ofcourse you can argue that you should know what your level is! you see it each time you play a game!

But well i play a nice range of games and thus most of the time have no clue what my level is. It can shifts up and down meaning that one day i can join the good players and the other i cannot. It remains pretty annoying i have to either visit my personal page all the time to view upon my score (which if you play multiple games can involve a good search!), and then usually come back to see the table is full already. Or join a game to get the error message to tell me my level but also that i cannot join this particular game.

Remember that ELO is not displayed for non-members. But having rank displayed, or hiding/lowlighting (different background color/shading) games one does not meet the level is a great idea.

Interestingly enough, it is possible to be a table administrator of a table one is not eligible to join. A beginner can create a table that only masters can join (just verified this on a game I've played twice, and lost bot times), and I'm pretty sure I saw an expert create a table restricted to good players and below.

Having the table completely hidden may not be the greatest of ideas, though. There are times when I want to play against a particular skill level, and nobody else is interested. However, someone comes to the table and states they're not at that skill level, but asks to join. I will sometimes change the access so I can at least play, even if it isn't against the skill level I originally wanted.

Ah yeah i forgot that you cannot see your ELO when you use a free account . good point!

That makes me wonder how does one with a free account know what rank he is for a certain game at all? 0.o

i'd really recommend that rank display gets available

I agree that tables should not be hidden completely, becuase as Jest mentions the requirment level is adaptable. Sometimes i've joined tables myself after asking if the requirement level could be lowered and sometimes i'd lowered the level myself. So thats a thing to not forget about table joining.
