Concede in tournament games

It would be nice to be able to concede in two player tourney games.

I am stuck in a backgammon game that is mathematically impossible for my opponent to lose, yet I can't concede. Why?

This point has been brought up an inordinate amount of times, but the admins don't seem to have any intention to act on it. In two players competitive games it is normal to concede when no possibility to win, even in tournament.
I've raised a bug report and a few forum posts on this topic but to no avail.

You can upvote the bug report and try to convince game programmers to add this feature directly in the game code (like hex, strands and a few others)
