The Firefly reference was a wink to that wonderful TV series by BGA. It only exists in BGA’s news post. There are no references to Firefly by Sky Team’s publisher or in the game itself.

I am really excited about this game, but only play Asynchronously. Do you think it will play well async? Or is real time the only way to go with this (in which case I will wait until I can pick it up IRL)

I REALLY think this needs to be played in real time. You take turns placing dice and it takes FOREVER if you don't play real time. I started one game and placed the first die and now i've waiting on the other player for 2 days to place his first die. And then we each have three more dice to place and THEN finally it's the end of round one. You could play like but your game is going to take forever. Just my thoughts.

I think it is better, but my best friends are 2000 km away, 2500 km, and literally around the world in Japan. I've learned that having my friends together is more important than the tension that can't be done well with the lags across the globe.

Sort of. In my view, maybe all they could get, but everyone wanted to see the actors and their faces, not just their voices.

If they'd have not hyped it so much, the animated would have felt good. But everyone was wanting the crew in person so it feels a bit of a let down.

And that's where great games like Sky Team can cheer you up!
