Hey there!

I'm pretty involved in the BGA scene, both playing a bunch of games and dabbling in development.

I've seen a lot from both sides - as a gamer, getting my hands on everything from turn-based to real-time, arena and tournament, and as a developer, getting the scoop on how changes affect us and the players. I play both desktop and mobile games, so I'm really into smooth, smart interfaces that are easy to use.

I'd love to test the new bells and whistles and give my two cents on how to make BGA even better.

I'd love to be a part of making BGA even better!

I'm part of a very active discord that plays a TON of turn-based games, and another with a regular real-time game night.

I play plenty on mobile and desktop

I would be very interested in joining the BGA LAB as I have been a member of BGA for years now and feel this is one of the best ways I can give back to this site. BGA has provide a lot of fun and positivity in my life, allowed me to make some amazing friends and lets me play games I may never get to play otherwise.
It would be an honour to be select to help out.

I also would like to take part of testing new features. I am an active user playing in various modes. At the same time I am a novice software tester, and finding bugs makes me happy ;) This makes BGA even better, and I have something to talk about during a job interview :)

I'm more of a casual player than most of the people that have posted here. But if you would like my input from that perspective, I'm glad to help.

My interest in helping be a beta developer is as someone who uses old equipment and has no interest in upgrading said equipment (ie smart phone I'm talking about). I use Linux on my home computer and also an old windows 7 laptop.

I do have some trouble with some games on the mobile and find I have to switch to desktop mode to get it to work even so Lost Cities of Arnak still crashes my browser sometimes.

I am also someone who very much dislikes changes to stuff (probably to do with Autism), so why help test it? So that I can provide feedback to make sure new features are applied sympathetically to the current look and feel, to avoid turning off players. Many on BGA are older generation, like myself, and are not so into new mod's and con's. It is why we like proper real life Boardgames after all.

I would like to be a part of this group for a few reasons:

* I am an active BGA player

* I have played a ton of games, both turn-based and real-time, so I am familiar with various scenarios.

* I am very focused on accessibility (motion / photo sensitivity) and usability (commonly used things are large, easy to use, and/or take fewer clicks to access).

* I use both desktop and mobile to play.

I use BGA everyday. I'm learning UxD at uni, just did a practice about usability tests. Perfect timing for me to be a part of this.
