I would love to be chosen! I play on both mobile and desktop, but I play on a foldable phone, so my mobile experience is different to a lot of others!

DrClick wrote: 07 November 2023, 14:14 It's not rocket science, BGA is evolving. Step by step, we are fixing bugs and are improving our databases and server usage.
And there's still a lot to do!

In the meantime, we're improving the interface to bring new features and functionalities. Some are already available, but a lot are still scheduled.

Upgrading a website with close to 10 Millions users who play in hundreds of different setups can be tricky to balance.
Every player has their own journey on Board Game Arena.
And that's why we want some of you to be part of testing these new features, on your own devices, with your very own habits.

That's why, starting from next month, we would love to invite a few users to join a specific group to our LAB.
It can be anyone. We would love to select as many different profiles as possible, but we will need to limit this group.
Mostly to limit the number of feedbacks for us to analyse and improve.

If you have any interest in accessing this new feature, please drop a comment here telling why you should be selected.
We will then pick a few users to try this feature, and expand it depending on the needs or demands.

Thanks for reading, and we'll update you soon! (Very soon) We will keep this post and poll open for 10 days.
Would love to be a part of this... Literally play everyday and long time user!

I would definitely be interested in participating. I've run a bi-weekly online game night using BGA since early 2020, and my group includes users who range from folks who only play those nights to folks who are in 20-30 games at a time. My group accesses BGA through various browsers, as well as tablets and phones (both android and iOS). Because of this, I spend a lot of time thinking about what games to show off based on how usable they are on different platforms.

Also, anyone who wants to chat with folks and play some games on Wednesday nights, feel free to send me a PM and I'd be happy to share the details! :D

I'm interested in testing new features and providing feedback.

I play a lot turn-based games, which includes playing in multiple tournements in several games simultaniously.

I use both desktop and mobile to play.

I've taken part in closed alpha and beta tests for various AAA video game releases and am compfortable providing construtive feedback with specific examples and suggestions.

I consider myself a casual gamer that focuses more on if I'm having fun and enjoying the experience then if I'm winning the game.

Hey,

thanks for doing this, I hope you guys will be able to get some valuable feedbacks from the community.

I'd like to "apply" to the lab because well, I love this platform and would love to help to make it better.

I've been around for ages, very active since the last 4 years (covid and all ...). I actually got an ancestral badge recently  I am part of a ~3h weekly BGA session with IRL friends, we are board game veterans, we've playing board games together for well ... more than 30 years now. Some of us are or have been in the video game industry, myself included, and we do talk about the BGA platform itself from times to times ;) We try a lot of the new games if they fit our criteria.

Also, I am a computer engineer, I know "a few things" about websites. I really know how to make useful bug reports, because well I've been on the other side of these since last century :)

Keep up the good work, cheers !
