Spielzeit läuft zu schnell ab?

Hallo,

Ich glaube, irgendwas verstehe ich im Moment nicht: ich habe vor kurzem die zugbasierten Tuniere für mich entdeckt. Nun bin ich schon zwei mal ausgeschlossen worden und habe mehrere Karmastrafen kassiert, weil meine Zeit abgelaufen war.

Ich spiele aber in der Regel abends nochmal bevor ich ins Bett gehe, habe dann noch einige Stunden Rest, wache 5-6 Stunden später auf und die Zeit war um???

Muss ich mich hier ausloggen, damit das nicht passiert? Übersehe ich was? Oder passiert das wirklich dadurch, wenn quasi alle Mitspieler mitten in der Nacht direkt nach mir ziehen (halte ich für unrealistisch).

You're playing in tournament games (at least the ones where you were ejected) - they have a fixed time limit. That is, you get 3 days at the start of the game, and every time it is your turn (as the tournaments you were in had 24 hours playing time, you can find tournaments with 12-hour playing windows), your clock ticks down. This happens frequently in tournaments where timezones differ between consecutive players.

The bright side is you don't lose much as much karma for being ejected from a tournament game. But there is not much you can do, but trying to only choose games where you think you might actually finish in the given time per player specified in the tournament settings. And hoping that your opponents are reasonable and will not eject you if you're actively playing.

Thanks for your answer. Its definitly helpfull for me. Thinking about the different time zones of the players is definitly a conclusion for my mysterious time problem.

For sure, your post helps me to better understand, how tournaments and playtime countdowns work.

Also important to know: Even using a time joker ("holiday joker") will not increase your timer in tournament games.
