Arena Mode Set as Solo

This game allows me to queue for arena but the season settings are for 1 player and after a few seconds it kicks me from the arena queue saying "unexpected error: solo mode for this game is only allowed in friendly mode". Is this intended? I was hoping this game would be available in arena, ideally at 2 player
