So many cheaters lately...

What's up with the multitude of duo players who both have the same Elo and come from the same country, playing as a team in Catan? Has anyone else noticed this? I've played under 10 matches within the last 3 days and already encountered 3 such teams...

There are already several active threads on this forum about this same thing. Personally, I never encounter any cheaters like this, but plenty of other people say they have and are talking about it. What annoys me is that people keep posting brand new threads about this same thing, rather than looking and commenting on the already existing discussions.

How do you know they played as a team? What are the signs?

There are accounts out there that try to climb the elo leaderboard playing with the same person in 3 or 4 player games

I have yet to run into any "cheaters" but I have been called a cheater multiple times because I use the chat to point out that players shouldnt trade with X play because X player needs 1 more road to take longest road or X player needs 1 ore to build a city and win with 10 pts (basically letting everyone know that if player X gets some card the game is over). If someone is about to win the game I will 100% point it out to everyone else because if you win, my chance of winning becomes 0%. Is it possible that you ran into something like this or was it super blatant like accepting worse trades (ie taking 1 sheep from red when blue is offering a sheep and a wheat)
