Solo challenge scoring

I beat the solo challenge on expert mode by 7 points but only scored 291 points total after 3 games. That makes no sense whatsoever. How does the solo challenge tally your score in the end? First game I scored 84 2nd 91 3rd 116.

I understand that, but the sum of the three is 291, shouldn't I need to achieve 300 after 3 games to beat it? And how did I beat it by 7 points when after I scored 291 after a set of 3 games?

Similar things happened in lower level, too; when I beat the solo challenge under Normal difficulty, I beat it by 95, but I don't think I scored 395 after 3 games.

So from that last game reference, from the log I can see.

RockvilleGamer has 44 and scores 75 for having 33. RockvilleGamer scores 119.
RockvilleGamer has 66 and scores 42 for having 22. RockvilleGamer scores 108.
RockvilleGamer has 97 and scores 30 for having 18. RockvilleGamer scores 127.
Solo challenge: after 3 games, you won with a total score of 81

So yeah, don't know where 81 comes from. Should it be 19+8+27=54 instead?

Plus this sentence is pure numberwang:

For having 18 means I scored 18 conservation points which translates to 30 points.

I don’t know how that comes out as I won by 7.

According to my three games, you only need to score 291 in normal, 273 in experienced and 284 in expert to beat the solo challenge on BGA.

Update I beat another Expert solo challenge by 15 with total score of 298, so in this set of 3 games I only needed 285 instead of 284 to win. So there has to be a combination of map variation for the solo challenge final score handicaps.
