This could be an interesting possibility but it is not implemented at now.

He has a lot of time to spend during the day, and he prefers fast turn based games, so he sets the game speed to 6 turns per day. Player 2 prefers fast games as well, so he joins.

Since the players are ready to play in different times (there is no overlap), they will usually play just one turn per day. Player 1 will play his move around 9:00, and Player 2 will respond around 18:00.

Is there a time penalty for players (since the game speed is set to 6 turns per day)? Who will get the penalty, and why? The game will be played at very slow pace, although both players prefer fast turn based games. Is there any solution for this problem?
Very good question. In fact I think the described situation is a little extreme, but you're right: it deserves some additional thinking. Right now, to avoid problem, I disabled speed fastest than 2 turns/day. I started a specific discussion thread about this.

Table administrator can setup a minimum number of player, and this minimum cannot be changed after at least 1 opponent joined the game. If you don't want to play with less than X players, please make sure not to join games configured with a minimum number of player lower than X.

After the turn-based game has started is there any possibility to see what the gamespeed is, how many turns per day?

Like any other options, you can check it while the game is running at the bottom of the page (or by a click on the gear wheel icon on the top right).

In real time mode it's true, but i don't see it in turn based (few minutes ago i couldn't get to my games in progress as well, so maybe we have to wait for everything to appera on site?)

bottom of the page: no, doesn't show there. Gear wheel: leads to bottom for me, so doesn't show there, either

Also: Is there any way to see (in the normal view of the table) if players have quit the game?

Because in one of the turnbased games I have started one of the players apparently quit, but I couldn't find confirmation in the gamelog or anything.
(en.2.boardgamearena.com/elfenland?table=8647422)

I had to get myself to view of the table that isn't really meant for me to see at that point
(by clicking on a game that has already ended and replacing the table number: http://en.boardgamearena.com/#!table?table=8647422)
Here it says the player really quit.

OR is there an easier way to get to the second table presentation?

I'm very sad that I'm limited to only 5 turn-based games among all these wonderful games. :( How can I alleviate this sadness as I wait for my opponents to take their turns?

I see a lot of tables opened in turn-round mode.
Even 6 nimmt !
As well I understand to play TTA in turn-round mode, as well I don't understand to play 6 nimmt ! in such a mode.

I don't understand why there are so many tables waiting for opponents or completed but still not started.
Is it possible to clean automatically a table if not started after a delay of 24 hours ? I say 24 hours but it can be less or more an automatically clean should be considered.

At the end of the rules of TTA, there is a description of some variants. Especially "cool game" without war nor agression. Is it possible to implement it when I create a new table ?

That's all for the moment :D

What occurs if the games people open for turn-based do not fill up and so never start? Since the people opening the games no longer have to be online anymore to keep the listing active, simply leaving the site does not clean up unused games after them anymore. On another site that added something like this, a rapidly growing number of 'zombie' games flooded the place after a short time, many started by players who were checking the place out for the first time and never came back. The list grew more and more unmanageable as time went on.

The solution they implemented was to to institute a time-out period, after which open game listings expired if they had not been started within a couple of days. I would suggest that might be a good thing here as well.
