quit before beginning

Question- why do people quit immediately after getting matched up? I’m new to BGA- and can’t figure out why I get matched up quickly for a game, then the other person declines before we start? It’s about 3/4 of the games- I can’t figure it out!

It's possible there's someone they don't want to play with. Someone with a bad reputation, or even a new player. Some people don't want to play with noobs (unfortunately).

Three-fourths seems really high, though.

Depending on start lobby I find I sometimes have to click join to start to be able to see what variant they are playing. If advanced or one I don't like I have to quit from there. Also make sure you are not on training mode. Keep playing. More often players play.

Sometimes I get connected to a game without me knowing it. I often cancel searching for games but apparently the game keeps searching for opponents, or resume searching automatically when I turn on the pad. Since there is no confirmation request in arena mode, the game starts without me knowing it. I end up being kicked out and losing points because people are unaware that you can simply end the game without having to kick out the opponent. But sometimes people likes to kick you out and take lots of easy points, if you are a strong player. This is the state of this bga system.

Also sometimes people join multiple real time games then whichever ever starts first they will actually play, the system automatically removes them from the rest.
