Check your link: if it's https://boardgamearena.com/welcome .... it's WRONG.

Simple solution, take out the "welcome", and simply go to https://boardgamearena.com

Then you'll see the calendar and gift boxes on the right hand side.

My shortcut to BGA has /welcome in the path and it works just fine.
