Heyo moderators,
I was wondering whether it is allowed to use simple HTML commands in the translations boxes (or when thats not handy some other coding langauge like CSS?)
After translating Tournay strings a lot of the <br> command was used within the strings. This kinda got me going on using it on some of the stings for Seasons as well as in this game whenever you placed a . it skips a line before placing the new sentence in the UI. (Or maybe this is so for every game but only noticed it at seasons until now
) However, sometimes its nice to have a list of the options a bit more compromised.
so instead of:
-increase summoning gauge with 2.
-gain 2 energy.
you have:
-increase summoning gauge with 2.
- gain 2 energy.
etc. (i seemed to only achieve this second effect in by using <br> ^^)
I just love to make strings as clear as possible. Therefore, i started wondering whether i could use <b> </b> commands in order to bold words like "or" or "and".
or use italics on the words where you got the action from as in Tokaido i think it can be really neat if the (bath house) is italics. To have bigger distinguis between what actually happend and what cuased it. But yeah just wondering if that would be allowed. I don't really want to go on a trail and error with chances of fucking up something ^^. Also only thinking to use it for strings on the cards / objects used on the game board and not those that are used for the action logs.
Not saying i'd go and use it straigth away as it will make translating more intensive, but i'm guessing that once you worked out a game completely it would look pretty neat.
Looking forward to the answer.
Greetings,
Sawyer
