Wingspan updated?

Wingspan suddenly looks different on BGA, while all my other games look the same as earlier today.

Did Wingspan get an update? Is there a way to find out what has changed, other than the things I noticed right away?

I just noticed the same! Game froze, then when I refreshed it had prettier buttons at the top. Much closer to the app version now. I like it!

The redesign is hideous and garish.

Here are a few examples:

The font atop the page doesn't render properly -- it's pixelated and blobby.
The extra icons on the cards is distracting and unnecessary. Players can figure out for themselves what counts for their own bonus cards and if those two bonus cards aren't played that round, the added mess is for naught.
There is random text seemingly EVERYWHERE.

Give players the option to use the classic board. New isn't always better. In this case, it's horrible.

I play daily and this redesign will likely change that habit. I am not enjoying the clutter and mess.

I love the new feature of making it easy to see what counts for your bonus! I think the icons are nice, and you can also hover over a bonus card to highlight which birds count for it. Overall I think the update is great, and this is one of the things that's nice about it.

But now I'll move to that other post.

It seems like they are trying to go for the Steam aesthetic. They should stick to what they are.
