I have been on BGA for less than two weeks, so i apologize if i'm using the wrong terms. I tried finding a solution to my problem in the FAQs and Forums but didn't find anything.
I joined a 4-person table with a table creator who never launched the game. I clicked "accept", waited about 5 minutes for the game to start, saw many other players join and leave the table, and finally decided to cancel the game start so i could join a different table. However, because this game is very popular (Ticket to Ride), other players kept joining the table and i was unable to leave. As soon as i clicked "decline", the game start page would close and immediately pop back open, and i found myself clicking "decline" over and over again. It happened so fast, that i never had time to reach the "quit" button in the lobby. I was stuck as this table with the creator who wouldn't launch the game. It went on for at least another 5 minutes. I tried opening the lobby page in a separate window, but all windows were on the game start page.
For context, the table creator had many red flags and bad karma, so i suspect that it's the reason why people were leaving so fast. I don't know if the table creator was away, or doing it on purpose, but it was very frustrating.
Is there another way to quit a table?
