Why doesn't "I never want to play with GORDON 7981-G" work?

Post by Duane Roelands »

Why doesn't this configuration work? I keep seeing this card in my games. I won a game -twice- today and got robbed by this garbage card.

Looks like you have the settings perfectly backwards.

Notice that option choice is which cards to remove.
"Remove cards:"
If you select:
"None" - you want none removed.
i.e., all cards are in the game.

If you select:
"GORDON - 7891 G"
That option removes that card.
You've selected that you NEVER want to play with that option.
i.e., you never want games with the GORDON removed.

So you are saying you only want to play with none removed, meaning you always want to play with all cards in the deck, and you refuse to play when the GORDON is removed.

So, in order to never play with a card, I have to choose the "I always want to play with this card." This is what happens when you let developers design user interfaces.

You didn't think twice before saying that "you are ok playing with" "none"? Are you really ok playing with none?
