It would be nice if a vote flagged the game to come up when you click "next table". Here's an example of Libertalia where the turn timer doesn't seem to be working, and the other players likely don't know there is a vote to end the game.

It is understandable that you can not change turn-base game pamaterts (like no. of players, no. of move per day, ELO etc) after at least one new player joins the table. I do not however see the reason for blocking presentation text. It does not influence the game itself, it is just the form of showing sth to players still considering to join or not. Just for example - I make a table with minimum 3 and maximum 6 players, no presentation text yet. After minimum is reached, no one joins for some time. I would like to write info like "I wait for X hours for more players!". At present I can not do it, and if I really want to write sth in presentation box, the only way is to ask those who already joined - to leave and join again.

Pls consider if you can change that.

Cheers!

What exactly does x turns per day mean? Does it mean that I have to make a move every 24/x hours ?

It means you have to play several moves per day (more than one or two)

Yes, but what rythm? I can make 3 moves a day in an hour if all are online but I might not be able to log in every 8 hours to make a move in a 3/day game.

afte each move you get certain amount of time for another move (in 2 moves/day its 12hours, in 1 move/day it's 24h etc.) but be not afraid - no one will expel you if you make a move twice in an hour and then you won't make another for next 20 hours. It's more to show other people how fast game you want when you create table. The problem is you also need to consider with who you play because chinese player won't check the game in same hours as german player. They are trying to solve this problem (I think by indicating also in what hours you want people to play i.e. 2 per day between 8:00 and 20:00 a.m.).

+1

I had one like this as well. I finally sent a PM to the person who still needed to vote, and it was still a couple more days before the game was ended - as I suspected, he/she did not know that vote was there. With turn-based, I could see this being a frequent problem.

I had a tough time with this too, but now that I have it figured out... :D

If you had 2 / day game, when it's your turn you would have 12 hours added to your clock. If you come on 3 hours later and take your turn, you will have 9 hours left for that turn, and it will carry through and accumulate. So when your next turn comes up, you get another 12 hours added on. So you now have 21 hours, so it would not be an issue if it took you 14 hours to get to your turn this time. (In fact you'd have 7 hours still left over.) Plus you have your 72 hour start time. (The start time seems to be the equivalent of 6 turns cause a one per day is 144 hours.)

If you also play live, it works the exact same way, except you're getting 12 hours or 24 hours or whatever for each turn instead of 30 seconds or a minute. It's just much easier to see in turn-based cause you can look around instead of being in a rush to take a turn.

Although the more turns per day, the more it could get to be an issue based on your schedule.

At first, thanks for all your feedback, this is very useful.

We are planning another update for turn based mode to fix these things.

So don't worry: step by step, we are going to improve the turn based mode to make it better. Our goal is to provide the best turn based system for online boardgaming, so we won't stop until this has been done.

Please continue to suggest things and on our side we keep you inform as soon as we improve the system.

Thanks.
