Elo points lost due to a bug

Does bga compensate points you lost due to a bug? I just played a game where on the last move a bug/wrong rules implementation occured and lost because of it. I only see an option to file a case, but should it be fixed do I get the points back? And if I do get points back, do I also gain the points I would have gotten for winning a game?

Btw simmiliar bug/wrong implementation has already been filed 45 days ago and it hasn't even been aknowledged yet.

So I have to admit I have made a mistake. Because there is an identical bug with another place of power I assumed it is a bug. In this case it actually wasn't. Pretty embarassing coming from someone who plays this game so much, but I was wrong. I don't see a way to delete this post so I will just edit this message here. If someone can delete please do so.

Don't focus too much on your ELO. One game is very few and shouldn't change your ELO that much. (Just play another one.)

If you are sure there is a bug, feel free to report it on the BGA's bug/suggestion page.
You can search this page to see if anyone else has encountered it.

You can also ask in the game's forum if it has happened to anyone else (you can use the forum search too, before opening a new thread, maybe it exists already).

I am 100% that the rules should have allowed me to gain 1 more point. The same kind of bug has been reported multiple times and there is a case file since 45 days. Be it a small or big diffrence I think that bugs not influencing players elo is a minimal standard. Also if you are trying to get top places achivements these points would matter. If I hadn't gained top5 all time at the game already it would have cost me that achivement after this very game for example.

Yes, bugs happen and have consequences. No, you won't probably "get your elo back" (among other things, it would also require to remove some elo from anyone who played against you after that...). Lucky for you you didn't miss that achievement... XP points are used for what, exactly?

Elo is representative, not cumulative. Missing out on points doesn't really matter, your rating will always rise (or fall) to your playing level despite small shifts due to mistakes, bugs or even cheating as long as it is not systemic. And of course, a bug cuts both ways over many games.

Nothing. So an achievement is just an image that appears when you view your profile, and no one cares about

Then it is a shame they spent time on something that nobody cares about instead of developing some other featutes, like fixing bugs. Though I am willing to bet that people who got #1 cared.

Game bugs are not fixed by the BGA team, but by game developers, who are usually not the same people.
But yeah, there are still some important things that need to be improved out of the games

Happened to me on Arena table #457654893 for Belote. Kept getting error 503 when i tried to access the table from my phone internet and my wifi. I lost ELO and my ranking. Absolutely ridiculous. And to think that i just paid for premium today
