By far the best 2-player game on BGA introduced in 2023 was Wizards of the Grimoire. Unfortunately it's not on the list.

Agree with everyone else - I do not want to vote in every category because I do not play every category. I had to give votes to games I have never even tried on BGA. This is rather silly and I feel like it invalidates the results. I have no faith into the outcome of the vote because of this bug!

Also why can't I change my vote? You are tracking the votes by BGA logged in user. I can only vote for one game per category anyway so why does it matter if I change my vote later?

I don’t play the expert games but want to vote in the other categories. I don’t want to taint the results by picking randomly. Can I get advice on which game to vote for in that category?

Others have already said similar things, but I think it's still worth chiming in on this. It's a VERY odd decision to REQUIRE votes in all categories in order to vote.

I generally don't play lightweight games so I haven't really played any of the games nominated in the lighter categories, and I haven't played any of the games nominated in the 2 Player category either. Even if I had played some of the lighter games, I would have wanted to refrain from voting as I don't think my opinion should weigh in on the result as these are not my kind of games.

If I still want to make my voice heard regarding the Heavy game category, this effectively force me to vote on some random games in the categories I don't care/know anything about, basically skewing the results in those categories.

Why not just let people vote in the categories where they actually have an opinion?

I have only played games in some of the categories. I don't want to vote randomly, sooks it looks like I am excluded from voting

It's under "Best Regular Game"

Well, the news obviously recommends playing (or at least observing) the games you don't know before voting...
