Re: Filter Games by Premium/Free?
I highly doubt bga would ever consider doing this. Although it would be very useful for non premium members bga wants you to become premium. So they aren’t just going to make it easy for you and say here’s 100s of great games you can play for free. They will keep showing ads like play great premium titles like ttr, azul, and ark nova.
I don’t see why games can’t be categorized/rated better though and shorted that way.

Re: Filter Games by Premium/Free?
Probably the best explanation. I guess the political answer would be "you can play premium games with a free account, so no need to filter them"ChiefPointThief wrote: ↑31 January 2024, 12:21 I highly doubt bga would ever consider doing this. Re: Filter Games by Premium/Free?
Maybe, or maybe not. In fact, you can very easily check which games (or variants) are premium: https://boardgamearena.com/premium?src=globalmenu All others are free. So this is no "secret" at all. Showing this result by filtering "all games" would just be the regular place to do it.ChiefPointThief wrote: ↑31 January 2024, 12:21 I highly doubt bga would ever consider doing this. If they SHOWED free accounts Premium games in a better to read list then the big glob of text in https://boardgamearena.com/premium it might allow them more chances to convert folks!ChiefPointThief wrote: ↑31 January 2024, 12:21 I highly doubt bga would ever consider doing this. I pay them for Premium because this site saved my weekly gaming crew during the worst of the pandemic, even though we rarely play Premium games nor do I generally share an IP with another player (but that did come in handy when playing with family), and almost never use chat since we generally have a zoom call going
