This is a fairly small tournament, just 7 players.

Why do I finish 5th? and not joint 3rd.... at-least!

There were only 5 rounds, I got paired with the top player twice. And I beat the 2nd place player who ends up on the same points. Admittedly I got a by one round and they didn't, but there is not much I could do about that.

I struggle to figure out how this was all calculated...

The pairing leave a little bit to be desired too, I had the same match-up, and so did 2 other players, they played each other twice in the last 2 subsequent rounds.

With accurate scores and better tiebreaking -

byes are 0.5 rather than 1.0, and either
Bucholz followed by head-to-head or head-to-head followed by Bucholz

- everyone ends up with the same placement as BGA gave them.
