Game in Progress page update

The new interface is less useful, less friendly, harder to read/parse, confusing and needlessly complex.

I know BGA doesn't give a **** about user feedback, but I'll leave mine anyway... Change it back!

+1 for removing the exhaustive list of 750+ games with active tables. (Hopefully that's available elsewhere. I'm sure it's helpful information. Just not here.)

Hard disagree on this one - I enjoyed seeing what others were playing and how that changed. And as far as I can tell its no where else to be found

Hard agree for that, this table list is not usefull there.
It should be easy to create a web page with only that table list and add somewhere only a link to load this new page...

The new in progress is completely unreadable on a mobile screen and hard to read on a tablet.
Please:
- give an option to use the previous display layout
- return the display of the spinning timer icon for the player whose turn it is - this is an essential element of this screen to identify which games need actioning to avoid late penalties

Agree that this is an undesirable change. Please provide the option to return to the "classic" view. If you believe that there is some benefit it would be interesting to understand what that is. Thanks

Yes, I agree with this. Please give us the option to return to “classic view.” The new update is pretty busy. Also, I miss the list at the bottom of “Current Tables” that showed you how many folks were playing at other tables for each game!

I can't figure out how to watch games being currently played at all now. No list of games shows up anywhere on that page for me. Just the Play, Arena and Tournament sections. Tried reading through this post and nothing here is helpful. Can't see any games actually being played unless I go to the lobby and follow them in now.

One thing I've just realized. A table in "Tables waiting for you" shows twice. Once in "Tables waiting for you" and once again in its "all tables of this type" section.

I'm not sure yet how I feel about that. But it was odd and unexpected.

(Which, I suppose is saying a lot, considering the new game in progress page is almost entirely odd and unexpected.)

If you go to the page for the specific game and look at the rightmost tab (the section that says "Latest Update", "ELO Ranking", and shows a table / pictures of the game), the first tab with the "table symbol" has a small hyperlink at the bottom that says "Watch a game in progress (### games)". If you click that, you'll see the active tables. However, it's in the Games In Progress style view, so you won't see player elo from there. The pages are listed in batches of 20 games per page and there are small arrows to navigate pages. If you thought the Games In Progress page looked strange, just wait until you find the active tables page!

You can also find it by going directly to the url https://boardgamearena.com/gametables?game=### substituting the ### for the game name or game number. For example game=1 or game=carcassonne will show all active tables for Carcassonne.
