Can we just kick 0% rep players from existence

Can we seriously just remove all these people that are at 0% or close to it. I mean there no real punishment for the people. They will be at 0% reputation and not give a fluff . Maybe ban them from bga for a week or something. I know if I got banned for a week, I'd clean up my act. Every time I play 6 nimmt, there's always 1 bozo that quits and their reputation is always ridiculously low. Not even sure why the host allows them but I'm really getting sick of these people.

A lot of people just accept there defaults, and the OP may be joining other people's games.

They could even just change the defaults to exclude them and it would help.

Unfortunately the best way to deal with this is to allow them to keep playing so players can see their low Karma and decide for themselves if they want to risk playing with that person. Otherwise it's just a bunch of "new" accounts with 80% karma and you have no idea.

As has been said, set a minimum karma on your game settings and you're effectively banning them from your games.

That's true. But while technically it's easy to create a new account, those players also loose all Elo, XP, achievements, friends,... So I guess this is quite a loss for them. It's like starting from scratch - a chance to do better this time

Don't people who complain about moderation get set to 0%? Regular quitters is one thing but i have sympathy for people suffering from such a heavy handed response from BGA "moderators" (ironic...) when they post in the forums trying to get a response. (I'm told using the suggested route gets no response whatsoever)

Sure, but that was the starting point Cile made about users who got temporary bans. They'd have to deal with all of that when making a new account.

you could also get a big karma cost if you had many turn-based games ongoing and something happened IRL making it either impossible to connect for a while or the least of your worries.

Just create your own table and set the karma requirement (or play in the arena).
