Best Game on BGA (helping a teacher with a lesson about voting)

Hello everyone,

TLDR: Please nominate games as the best game on BGA by filling out this form: https://forms.gle/ZoWtKT6LVwJN98abA

I'm working in a school in the US with a teacher who is planning to teach about different voting systems because it's an election year. Since we are both BGA users, we thought it would be interesting to show different voting systems by having BGA users vote for the "Best game on BGA" via different systems of voting. I posted on reddit with my initial attempt here: https://www.reddit.com/r/boardgamearena ... &context=3 but there were some challenges that came up. As a follow up, I'm running a second round of this process but first taking nominations (via the form link above in the TLDR, I posted about it on reddit as well here: https://www.reddit.com/r/boardgamearena ... &context=3). I would really appreciate people's assistance with this, and if anyone has any questions, please feel free to message me directly or comment on this post.

This is fair. I appreciate the feedback. For what it's worth, I won't share any email addresses with anyone. The email requirement is simply to prevent one person from nominating the same game more than once. I understand that it's difficult to trust that, and I definitely don't hold it against anyone who doesn't want to fill out the form as a result.

When I do the actual voting process, it will also require a sign in, but I won't be able to see email addresses (if you play around with Google Forms, you can set up a google form in a similar manner to test that).

If someone really wants to mess with your process, an email requirement won't stop them. I run about half a dozen different emails normally anyway. One for important stuff like bills. One for shopping website signups (opt-in spam). One for ebay (cause ebay sends SO MANY EMAILS on its own). One for family and friends to email me on. One for testing stuff at work (I work in IT). And so on.

Gmail also has a thing where you can create multiple addresses by using a + suffix. I've used this at work where I needed about 20 different emails for a thing - so I had me+1@..., me+2@... and so forth.

For future versions of this project, I will remove the email requirement.
