Why do I have to become an angel to chat?

Hi everyone,

First of all, I'm new to this website.
My first impressions are very good. I find it quite amazing to see so many games in 1 website.
The only thing that bothers me, is nothing being able to chat.
I first have to reach the Angel status?
How do I get this status?

As for the question of why newly registered players can't chat on the general channel, it's because some players misused it, and when moderated just created another account to continue behaving badly. Hence the need for a 'trial period' before giving access to this channel. But this doesn't prevent you from chatting when at a table. This is just for the general chat.
