Bug ? mission special waza and rescue station

Hello,

I played on the rescue map, had two cards that basically said "when you play a grass-eater icon gain 3" and "when you play a small animal gain 2 appeal"

one triggered and the other didn't when i rescued a small grass-eater from the river. (one of the two special maps)

Is it the expected behavior ? A misstranslation ?

What would be the issue here ? One of the card is triggered by adding a icon in your zoo, and the rulebook for that map clearly say that the icons are working as for any other icons in your zoo. The other card is triggered by playing a small animal, and you are not playing an animal when you place it under your zoo.

According to the English rules for the Map Pack, Rescue Station digging does trigger abilities checking for a played animal (not just tags). Quoted below (emphasis mine). So it does appear to be a missed rule / bug.

The animal counts as “in your zoo” from that moment on and triggers any other card that looks for icons or animals being played into your
zoo.
