Viewing Games in Progress

I'm very new here (registered 3 days ago) and I can't figure out how to watch games that are currently being played by others (live), or if it is possible? I feel like I'm missing something really obvious.

Nevermind, I found it.

Would be cool if you could filter by "turn-based" or "realtime"!

Which, of course, you can. At least in the game lobby (where one joins games)
First of all, realtime have green backgrounds, and turn-based have yellow backgrounds.
Beyond that, at the upper right of the table listing are two check boxes, "Play in real-time" and "Play turn-based". Check/uncheck those as you desire.

As far as from the games in progress screen, I'm not sure if there is a way. Realtime games are listed first, though. I'm not sure how exciting it would be to sit and watch a turn-based game. Probably only slightly less fun than watching grass grow or paint drying.
