Problem with Dragon Skull and Io Minion in Seasons

The card on Dragon Skull wrote "sacrifice 3 cards to get 15 crystals," which means sacrifice 3 cards FIRST, THEN get the 15 crystals! Even the original physical card meant it that way, it was written as "sacrifice 3 cards; get 15 crystals" But with the presence of Io Minion, the Dragon Skull automatically scores 0 when activated even though Io Minion was sacrificed during the activation???!! Can someone please amend that problem to make the game fit better with the new expansion please?
