Howdy!
I have recently experienced a situation, where new table creation is "disallowed" thus preventing any new games being started.
This situation is due to the fact that the developer has a new version, but BGA admins have requested waiting to field it until the current games are finished.
However, this penalizes the many who want to play (especially in real time), for the few who are playing asynchronously (perhaps very slowly and or have abandoned the game).
I would strongly suggest, that in the future, BGA adopt a reasonable upper time limit (e.g., 3-10 days, depending on game length and # of pending games) in these kinds of situations. This should also consider alpha/beta status of game, as these are inherently still being tested/developed.
