Solo - Issue with end calculation

Not positive this is a real problem, but it does not match how we always play. In the last round, you get to convert greenery one last time. That conversion did not adjust the oxygen, resulting in a loss. I interpreted the rules to say it WOULD adjust the oxygen.

Of course this makes no difference in the multi-player version as the last round does not start until the oxygen is already max. But in solo, you only get 14 generations.

Have I been playing it wrong, or is the game inaccurate when determining the last round?

you have to finish terraforming before the final green placement

My assumption was the same as yours at first, Grenandine. I played that way for a while using my physical copy. It was only when I played solo on the iOS app that I realized I had been doing it wrong. I went back and looked at the rule book, and you do indeed have to finish terraforming before the final greenery placement in order to win.

The reason is that you have 14 generations to finish terraforming, and a generation ends with the resource production phase. So the final greenery placement actually happens *after* the 14th generation is over (and thus after the solo game is won or lost).
