Harrassment during games

Hey I recently played and conceced a game against a player that insulted my family during a game,
saying things about my father and grandmother- why? I don't know but I reported the table.

I conceded the game because I couldn't take it anymore and immediately afterwards that person deleted it's profile.
Conceding the game was not by choice, I felt that I had to end that game, still I lost a good number of points because of this,
which I am really not happy about. How do I contact BGA about this, because this is messed up,
and I want to have that game annuled.

Sorry but ELO can never be restored so you can't just cancel a game.

Sorry but ELO can never be restored so you can't just cancel a game.

Well maybe there should be a way to be able to leave a game without a penalty or losing points
when there is a reason for it,
like somebody insulting your family during a game.

Also when there were server problems penalties for leaving were cancelled,
so it is possible.

Penalities losses are different from ELO losses. Unless you were speaking about karma points and not ELO points ?

Penalities losses are different from ELO losses. Unless you were speaking about karma points and not ELO points ?

When you leave/quit a game you lose karma points and additional ELO

And I didn't "just cancel a game", I conceded it after 50% because of another player insulting me constantly,
as I said in my original post.
Again there should be option for special circumstances that lead to not finishing a game

Over all the game i played i only encountered a reportable offense once, so developing a dedicated mode seems like overkill.

There is a report fonction and giving a red thumb to this personn will prevent you from playing him again, and you wont receive their message.

So don't cry over a few elo points as they are pretty much useless and will balance themselves eventually as you keep playing.

Over all the game i played i only encountered a reportable offense once, so developing a dedicated mode seems like overkill.

There is a report fonction and giving a red thumb to this personn will prevent you from playing him again, and you wont receive their message.

So don't cry over a few elo points as they are pretty much useless and will balance themselves eventually as you keep playing.

I don't think it is right to get points deducted for leaving a game because your opponent is coming after you personally,
but I didn't cry.

There is. It's called Friendly Mode in the game settings.
