Auto Reject trade offers

I'm playing in a game where a player is making a lot of trade offers that are making the game drag. I understand it's their right to make offers but I'd like to auto reject their offers from the start just like I can after they send 3 in the same turn. I thought the trade settings would allow that but when I set it to not alert me, it seems like it is still waiting on me to manually reject the trade. Am I missing something in the settings?

Is this a turn-based game or real-time? And is it a 3-player game or 4-player?

After you "Configure trade alerts", check "Never alert me", and click "Confirm", then you are still capable of responding to trade offers, but the game is not supposed to be waiting for you to do so. Perhaps the game is waiting for one of your opponents to respond to the offer.
