The VP in the "Game Results" tab don't add up to the final end game VP totals. It's not a consistent error either (like the 10 starting VP, though that doesn't seem included): some players it's off by more than others. Is there a particular scoring category or source of points that isn't shown there?

Are you referring to the end-game statistics? If so, those are not meant to add up like a scoresheet. Rather, they provide various statistics about several aspects of the game that players may find interesting.

Not all of the numbers no, but in addition to the statistics like "mines built" it does record VP from 8 different sources (e.g. VP from technologies, VP from booster tiles, etc.) as well as VP lost to charging and faction bidding. I figured adding all the VP statistics would add up to the score (+10 for what you start with) but it doesn't. Are the VP statistics inaccurate somehow? Or missing something else that goes into your score?

They're not inaccurate whatsoever, but simply different than the assumption you made. They were never intended to be added together like a scoresheet, even if some of them do represent VP values.
